10-09-06 This was taken in mid-September in our garden. I (Rachel) have been enjoying the garden as a hobby this year (previously it was a "chore") now that I have time to really do it right. Sam is not eating the flower but rather "smelling" it. His primary interest in flowers is for picking, especially when he is not supposed to. He also likes to look for bees in the flowers, using his sign for bee/bug. In case any gardeners happen to read this, the vine on the back fence is sweet autumn clematis (C. terniflora) and the pink flowers he is smelling are Anemone (I'm not sure which one - I didn't plant it). We have great plans for the garden for next year!
