The two-fisted stuffWe played "baker" today. First we watched "In the Night Kitchen" by Maurice Sendak. This is one of Sam's favorite stories and got him in the mood to wear a baker hat. Then we both put on the baker's hats I made with white paper and tissue paper. Amazingly, he kept it on the whole time (partly because I kept saying "You can't make cookies without a baker hat!"). This was the first time we made cookies together that he didn't scream when I put them in the oven. Maybe because we watched the bakers put their cake in the oven? Anyway, the best part is the eating at the end.
