The two-fisted stuff
We played "baker" today. First we watched "In the Night Kitchen" by Maurice Sendak. This is one of Sam's favorite stories and got him in the mood to wear a baker hat. Then we both put on the baker's hats I made with white paper and tissue paper. Amazingly, he kept it on the whole time (partly because I kept saying "You can't make cookies without a baker hat!"). This was the first time we made cookies together that he didn't scream when I put them in the oven. Maybe because we watched the bakers put their cake in the oven? Anyway, the best part is the eating at the end.
