Snow in the Smokies

Mount LeConte






The day before we left the Smokies we got to watch fall turn into winter in the Smokies. The mountaintops were beautifully iced with snow even though there was still fall color in the lower elevations. We enjoyed a short walk on the Appalachian Trail to enjoy the scenery.
