Hiking the Smokies 2009

My parents and I (Isaac) enjoyed backpacking through Great Smoky Mountains National Park for 4 days over Thanksgiving week. The trip was truly remarkable. Aside from simply enjoying good fellowship and the joy of hiking and camping in pristine backcountry, we were vividly reminded of the intricacy and majesty of God's creation. "The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork." (Psalm 19:1) Here are a few of the better photos:
