Christmas in St. Louis

The handmade Wofford gifts get better every year. Aunt Hope knit a stuffed squid for Sam and a stuffed anglerfish for Caleb. Sam LOVES his squid, wanting to sleep with him and take him everywhere!
Sam with Poppa and the birdhouse they built together.
Providence and Uncle John.
A present-opening race.
Ava and Grant received a felted wool rug.
And handmade Christmas stockings.
Grant crying after losing a present-opening race.
Isaac throws gift wrap at me.
Isaac examining his new felted wool slippers. He declares them to be the most warm and comfortable slippers he has ever owned. This is important since we are experiencing extreme cold here in Peoria and attempting to heat our house with wood.
Joseph's slipper. He only got one slipper due to a shortage of time on the part of Ava, who was trying to hand make gifts for almost every family member. This is what the slippers look like before they are felted.
As a joke, Ava left Mark's slippers unfelted as well. Ava knit an alpaca cover for a hot water bottle. Glory laughs at her yarn doll.
Speechless.
Uncle John joins the family crafting guild. Adalai and Grammy. Josiah shows off his cap grenade.
Oldest Wofford grandchild Shiloh enjoys designing clothes.
Youngest Wofford grandchild Elijah. Too cute.
He carries a snugglie around with him.
